OF FAME INDUCTEE 2006 - KEN BENEDICT |

KEN BENEDICT |
Ken’s love of baseball started at age eight in Houston, TX and he has lived the dream at all levels ever since beginning with Little League. As a high school and college standout, he won numerous All-District and All-State honors as a pitcher and shortstop. He then played junior college baseball and finished his collegiate career at TCU where he set the Southwest Conference record for complete games as a senior.
Ken began his association with the NABA in 1993
and has played in every age classification over the
years. No matter what age group, his reputation as a
flame-throwing right-hander preceded him and intimidated
those in the opposing dugout as his nine strikeout titles
and 95-14 career record would testify. His skills are
not one-dimensional though, as he is also known as a
power hitting shortstop with a career batting average
over .450.
In recognition of the above accomplishments,
Ken Benedict is hereby inducted as a member of the 2006
class of the DFW Adult Baseball Association Hall of
